Professional Experience
Elham has 25 years of Corporate Communications experience working in the French headquarters of international companies in industries ranging from entertainment and technology to finance and insurance. She has served as a sparring partner for ExCom members, defining and delivering messages for senior management during periods of transformation and growth such as the merger between Steria and Sopra, the eight-fold expansion of Ubisoft’s game development teams, or Euronext’s integration of stock exchanges in Ireland, Norway and Italy.
From M&A-related frictions to cultural misunderstandings, as Director of Internal Communications she addressed sources of tensions both directly with managers as well as indirectly through strategic change initiatives. As a coach, she continues to work with managers and their teams around the world to clarify their purpose and cultivate a spirit of collective mutual responsibility.
Cultural Background and Personal Interests
Born in London and of Iranian background, Elham grew up on the Canadian west coast before settling down in Paris over 25 years ago (except a 2-year break in Boston, Massachusetts).
When not using one of her three passports to travel, she’s testing new additions for her tea vault, dusting off her piano skills, doing volunteer work, or learning karate and muay thai techniques.
Conflict Regulation Style
"While some might want to put their running shoes to the test, I approach conflicts with empathetic curiosity. They’re an opportunity to detect and delve into foundational issues that allow everyone to come out standing on stronger ground. Unless the family is debating about dinner - in which case I just let the teenagers win."
